Furniture Sales Manager to join our team.
 

Chelsea Textiles is seeking an experienced and personable Furniture Sales Manager to join our showroom team on Pimlico Road.

For almost 20 years, Chelsea Textiles has been handcrafting beautiful wooden furniture in our workshop using sustainable, authentic materials. Each piece is handmade, hand-painted and hand-distressed by master craftsmen, creating the signature naturally aged aesthetic that has become synonymous with our brand. Our furniture is designed to stand the test of time — future antiques for generations to come.

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for interiors and craftsmanship who thrives in a luxury retail environment and enjoys building lasting client relationships. You will deliver exceptional service to both trade and private clients while driving sales and contributing to the continued success of the showroom.

Key Responsibilities
   • Assist both trade and retail customers with stock purchases and bespoke/special orders
   • Provide attentive service in the showroom, by email and over the phone
   • Respond to furniture web enquiries promptly and professionally
   • Create sales and purchase orders using the company system
   • Ensure all showroom furniture is correctly priced and presented
   • Advise customers on lead times and guide them through custom furniture options in line with company procedures
   • Liaise with the warehouse team to coordinate deliveries and dispatch

Skills & Experience
   • Polished, professional presentation suited to a high-end retail environment
   • Confident, proactive and creative team player with a passion for furniture and interiors
   • Minimum 3 years’ experience in luxury furniture or interiors retail sales
   • Strong ability to build relationships and engage clients
   • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
   • High attention to detail
   • Experience working with trade customers
   • Familiarity with Sage or similar accounting software (or quick to learn)
