Meadow Flowers Sprig in Rust

Meadow flowers is a collaboration with Caryn Hibbert from Thyme.

From the hazy, fragrant swathes of delicate flowers and grasses to the birdsong and accompanying buzz, flutter and chirping of insects - a wildflower meadow is a wonderful thing, increasingly rare and threatened, they are definitely worth celebrating.

Our Wildflower pattern celebrates the abundant and biodiverse meadowlands that we have at Thyme. The delightful marsh orchids and the distinctive purple flowers of the bee orchid are instantly recognisable, the labellum having evolved to resemble a female bee. The yellow rattle is named after the colour of its rich petals and the seed pods that make a distinct rattling when the pods are ripe. Among them, a sea of grasses and meadow buttercups, pretty ox-eye daisies and common knapweed make up a rich tapestry of colour and celebrate the plant life that so importantly support our wildlife.
