After months of research, design perfecting and sourcing the highest quality materials, Chelsea Textiles is pleased to announce an entire collection of Tropical furniture featuring bamboo, both real and faux.

Expanding on the success of our signature Gustavian-style faux Bamboo Chair, the new additions will feature perfect recreations of chairs and benches from 18th century Sweden as well as split caned pieces from 1950s France. The merging of these bygone eras exemplifies the brand’s passion for Old World grandeur and Mid-Century design while upholding the finest standards in handmade craftsmanship.

Chelsea Textile’s Design Director, Jenny Simpson, has also added to this collection by interpreting these iconic styles, to include bedside tables, dressers and consoles.

More details coming August 2017.

Chelsea Textiles introduce their new collections in the USA

Chelsea Textiles hosted guests at their New York showroom in the Fine Arts Building, Midtown Manhattan to celebrate the introduction of four new collections in the US market. Known for its faithful recreations of antique textiles and hand embroidery, the company launched three new fabric lines, including a new Neisha Crosland Collection, the Provence Collection, and the Dogs on Parade Collection, as well as the new French Country furniture collection. With summery cocktails in hand, guests were invited to explore the showroom, designed by the late Jed Johnson, and preview the newest additions. Scattered throughout the three rooms were life-size cutouts of dogs in honour of the new collaboration with popular children’s book author and illustrator Domenica More Gordon.
