Chelsea Textiles has been a proud sponsor of this year's Design Destination London, hosting two events showcasing the traditional fine art of hand-embroidery.

HAND-EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP AT THE COVENT GARDEN HOTEL

Within the beautiful Covent Garden Hotel, guests tried their hand at embroidery alongside one of Chelsea Textiles' skilled master craftsmen as he demonstrated the techniques that bring texture, depth, & storytelling to fabric. Guests were also invited to afternoon tea, a glass of champagne, and the opportunity to explore Chelsea Textiles' archive of 17th & 18th century antiques.

POP-UP CAFÉ & DEMONSTRATIONS AT THE PIMLICO ROAD SHOWROOM

On Tuesday morning, the Pimlico Road showroom was transformed into an elegant breakfast café catered by Connaught, where guests were mesmerised by a live hand-embroidery demonstration, and given a preview of some Chelsea Textiles' upcoming collections for 2026.
