New Designs for 2026
This spring, Robert Kime Ltd launched a group of 10 new fabric designs and introduced two wallcoverings, one wallpaper, and three trims.
As always, the new designs from Robert Kime have been inspired by the archive, but not just by the fabrics and documents that Robert collected but by antique upholstery, pieces of furniture and additions to the archive made by Managing and Creative Director Orlando Atty.
Creating the new fabrics in this collection has been both a journey of discovery and a continuing exploration of the intersection between pattern and layer. Two wallcoverings, made of linen and silk, offer interest with their texture and pattern, delivered to the highest quality.

100% Silk
Based on an early Goklan Kilim from Turkmenistan circa 1800, made of camel hair, wool and cotton, the original piece was attributed to the flatweaves of the Turkmen tribes. These types of kilims were used as rugs, as well as tent hanging partitions. This screen print shows the detail of the original weave, found by Orlando, who felt it would make a unique addition to the collection with its detailed ‘stitching’.

44% Cotton, 37% Silk, 19% Linen
A culmination of two designs from the archives makes this beautiful damask for the Robert Kime collection. The distressed nature of the damask allows the pattern to change in the light and, with no obvious repeat, the pattern flows on the diagonal, allowing the user to focus on the composition.
