Hand-crafted & hand-painted, this 18th Century Gustavian inspired Skänk (Swedish for sideboard) features a tray top over reeded doors concealing three shelves. Supported on sturdy square fluted feet.
Sideboards first appeared at the end of the 18th Century and its creation is attributed to British architect Robert Adam and designed to hold kitchen items such as cutlery, urns and basins.
Made from sustainably sourced teak wood.
