In celebration of the Platinum Jubilee, Chelsea Textiles have made a limited edition of 70 hand embroidered cushions. Each cushion comes with a certificate of a tree planted in support of the Queen’s Jubilee initiative, to increase tree cover in the United Kingdom.

Intricately embroidered by hand and influenced by Jacobean needlework, the cushion features an oak tree flanked by a recumbent unicorn and a lion. The oak tree, one of Britain’s most iconic trees, stands on a hillock of flowers, including an English rose and the Queen’s favourite, lily of the valley. The unicorn and the lion, who appear on the Royal coat of arms, are symbols of the United Kingdom
